new places

last night seemed really short for some reason, I guess it's these new hours...

My Diablo II characters are still there (YEAH!!!) I played a little bit last night they have some new patches that make the game much harder. my level 56 felt like a wimp. I played some this morning, for some reason the computer tha thas the VooDoo2 card in it isn't seeing the card... I am going to have to work on that tonight maybe.

I went to comment on a friends journal and she had 20 comments.. I don't feel like my comment will matter much when I see that... I have 8 comments on one of my entries (yesterday) but 4 are mine... I think that is the most I have ever gotten

last night was 'from Russia with Love' for James Bond night. I liked it, Bond rocks

I have been wanting to see the movie 'PI' for a while now, it's playing on the independent film channel Friday, I am going to try and catch it here at work (everyone should have a television on their desk)

I am trying to learn how to program in C, it's going slowly. maybe in a couple months I will have this figured out enough to write something useful, until then I have nothing that can't be done in shell script :-P

I am watching a weird movie called "Red Planet" I need to sit and design a space craft sometime.. these movie people just don't know what the hell they are doing

I am working on re-learning to program in C, it's a real bitch... I am working on sockets right now and the book is being really vage about what does what... you have to write an include file just to run their programs.. the include file is 160 lines I am stripping it for each program I write so that I only put in what I need, by the end of the book I should have the entire file written... currently I am getting an error about one of the variables. I think one of the defines will solve it but I can't figure out which one.
