vacation and sucking

So I went to get my car checked up to go on the trip a few simple things. The brakes were shaking a bit... stuff like that

my front brakes I knew were in bad condition, I just had no clue as to how bad... turns out there were REALLY bad. the disks couldn't even be machined, they had to be replaced, along with pretty much every part all the way up the master cylinder. (did not need a new one of those thank goodness) on the rear right break the pad had folded onto itself doing SO much damage to everything around it!! they are now going to use the old parts of my car as examples. the only parts of my break system now that didn't have to be replaced was the back left disk and the master cylinder

along with everything else that was wrong the total bill was almost $2000

1/2 the work is done, the rest can't be done until Tuesday night when the parts come in.... so much for my road trip.

maybe I will still take some short ones... but not the long one I had planned...

...sigh... life is a real bitch sometimes you know?
