So last night I dreamed in math... lots of math, calculated all sorts of things, wrote most of it I could remember down.... not an unusual dreaming scheme for me. However I woke up with a... um... yeah... one of those morning things that guys get....

Next year at Fantasm I want to have a math fetish panel... [livejournal.com profile] melonaise can be the guest speaker... we can have a "math play party"

......

Looking over my notes from my dreams, something interesting I calculated that I never realized before -- Did you know that my birthday was on the 69th day of the year? (except of course for leap year). Which means so is [livejournal.com profile] elttobretaw's (we share the same birthday)

I get the feeling it's going to be a strange day....

How we came to have an oil shortage?

There are a lot of folks who can't understand how we came to have an oil shortage here in America. Well, there's a very simple answer. Nobody bothered to check the oil. We just didn't know we were getting low. The reason for that is purely geographical. All our oil is in Alaska, Texas, California, and Oklahoma. All our dipsticks are in Washington DC.

Harold: I decided right then that I'd enjoy being dead.
Maude: I understand. A lot of people enjoy being dead. But they're not dead, really. They're just... backing away from life. Reach out. Take a chance. Get hurt, even! Play as well as you can. Go team! GO! Give me an L! Give me an I! Give me a V! Give me an E! L. I. V. E. LIVE! ...Otherwise, you got nothing to talk about in the locker room.

I love this movie... it's one of my favoriates... everyone of you needs to go out and rent "harold and maude" even if you have seen it already... ESPECIALLY if you haven't... and watch it a few times.... it's an old 60's movie, starts a little slow but give it time and you will like it...

Harold: I sure am picking up on vices.
Maude: Vice, virtue. It's best not to be too moral. You cheat yourself out of too much life. Aim above morality. If you appy that to life, then you're bound to live it fully.
