ouch...ouch...ouch...

ok, so tonight was demo night... kind of a time where we show off our stuff, do patterns and breaks... stuff like that...

I did poom say tagu somjong (the name of the pattern, please excuse my ramonji, it sucks I know)

then my break... 3 count them 3!!! one inch boards... with a front punch... from a deep front stance....

um... ouch!!

I hit it the first time, put a hold 1/2 an inch deep about the size of a nickle in the front of the first board... but they didn't break... so I had to do it AGAIN... with the same hand... This time they snapped right across the center.

The thing is I know I hit the boards hard enough to break them the first time.. but I hit a soft spot in the wood that collapsed the hole but wouldn't break the boards... meaning the hole where my knuckle was... sigh...

yeah.. my hand hurts...
