another political post... run away!! Based on a discussion about organic food...

I will never, EVER buy organic food.. why? simple... the organic food industry kills people.. No this is not some strange joke... I didn't believe this myself when I first heard it... but I looked it up for myself and not from some right wing corporate site... no, from the same people who are pushing organic food...

We in this country are VERY lucky, we have our choice of what kind of food we would like to eat. We have a plethora of food... we have so much food we don't know what to do with it... MOST countries in the world however this is not the case. Most countries are starving. That is why in the mid 1960's a man by the name of Norman Borlaug started genetically modifying food... By 1970 he had saved the lives of MILLIONS of people by creating strands of grain which would produce 4 times the output of normal grain and was able to grow in the harshest of climates. In this year he won the nobel peace prize for his accomplishments. He is considered a hero to most of the world.

The organic food industry however makes claims that his food is untested (uh... mid 1960's.. hello?) and poisonous... we have been eating it for 40 years now? it's untested? what the fuck? They have convinced other governments of the world about this crap... Governments of countries that can't feed their people at all... These groups are blocking ships that contain tons and tons of food to feed these people with these false claims...

yeah... I didn't believe it either... but you can look it up...

go to the greenpeace site (one of the worst of this problem) type in GMO in the search box (it stands for Genetically modified organism) click search... read in horror...

this is from green peace... admitting and being proud of the fact that they have blocked food that would saved the lives of millions..

"Food Aid: US Attempts to force GMO aid on Africa"
they even admit the famine conditions... that people are dying because of not enough food... we can use GMO's to now produce 10x the current yield
"A Bridge Too Far: Mexican Government under pressure to resist US GMO dumping"
"Greenpeace appeals Brazilian GMO decision, urges President Lula to "stand up to Monsanto"

it goes on and on and on... there are 9 PAGES of this stuff on the Greenpeace website...

yeah... millions of people are dying because of these bastards.... What the fuck....

oh yeah, I almost forgot...

From Norman's speach "Feeding a World of 10 Billion People: The Miracle Ahead"
"While the affluent nations can certainly afford to pay more for food produced by the so-called "organic" methods, the one billion chronically undernourished people of the low-income, food-deficit nations cannot. As Richard Leakey likes to remind his environmental supporters, "you have to have at least one square meal a day to be a conservationist or an environmentalist." "

it's good stuff, read it here: http://www.agbioworld.org/biotech-info/topics/borlaug/billions.html

yeah.. I found this snippit:

"The need to solve world hunger and overcome starvation is used as a crude form of moral blackmail to encourage acceptance of products that are largely unneeded and unwanted."

wow... yeah...because they are trying to use giving starving people food as blackmail...
for... um... yeah, so in black mail you have to recieve something... and we are asking from what?

these are starving people with nothing you cowardly senceless mutherfuckers!

I really didn't know people could be so fucking clueless...
you are welcome to read the entire article.. but I will warn you.. it's dull as hell! http://www.connectotel.com/gmfood/zn181005.txt
