a crashing
May. 31st, 2004 02:35 amThe rain pours out of the sky, coming down in waves one after another on the open sea. A vessel deep in it's cloak, feels the pressure of the constant wind and hail pouring out of the darkness above. Balls of ice bounce against the top of the ship leaving dents and scraps across it's deck. The clouds in their never ending pounding seem be trying to push it into the depths of the ocean. Waves sizing almost sixty feet come roaring from all sides, ignoring the insignificant spot floating across their foam. Salt water hits the bow trying to break the entire boat into splinters. One crash after another not letting up for even a moment.
Deep inside the same ship, a simple couple gaze into each others eyes as they slowly sip on cups of warm tea.
understanding is gone.
innocence is lost.
romance is dead.
