hugmeI have lots to say about my weekend, hrm, where to begin....
Friday was good, I went and saw Elizabeth and suprised her with tickets to Rennansance Fair (one of her favorite things to do). She was pretty happy about that... We had planned on going out that night but I wasn't feeling well, this polen has my alergies going NUTS!!! I hope everyone had fun at glittlerdome!!!
Saturday we slept in until about 11:30, got ready really quick and went to Ren Fair, It was crowded but less than normal, we did lots of stuff, cought a couple of shows, had some Turkey legs, we even saw Kris there, but not until the end... Her friend in the Armor shop was awful cheerful!!! I even ended up seeing a couple of people from work.
after that we went shopping, southlake mall was close so we went there... we got her some tights and then as we were walking around I noticed the KBToy store had a sign that said "we have PS2 in stock" hrm.... so I went in and asked.... THEY DID!!! I was so happy, I had been looking for a PS2 since thier release!!! I had the clerk go get one from the back, got a game, a memory card and an extra controler. WOW I was finally going to get my Playstation I had been waiting so long for!!!
I wrote the check and the clerk told me she would have to call it in because of the size of the check. Wierd but OK..... after being on the phone for 10 minuites she told me my check was denied. I was confused... my check was denied? I had 10X what I was writing it for in that account and I had just checked it earlier that day... she gave me a number to call... I called from the store....
The number was for Equifax.... when I called them they told me that because I had not written enough large checks for companies affiliated with Equifax they could not accept my check, and it would be thursday until they could approve it..... WHAT THE FUCK?!?! I screamed at him for 15 minuites, then screamed at the manager for another 30......
I will NEVER shop at KBToys ever again... I can't believe that they gave me such a lame excuse and wouldn't accept my money. I am also putting up a web site about how horrible my experience there was... I was livid....
Elizabeth is so wonderful, after we got out of the mall she calmed me down to a point where I didn't want to go running into the store with a simi-automatic weapon. We didn't go to the secret room party that night... hrm.. next weekend we will have to go out a lot....
Sunday morning I got up, (still a little mad) and started calling stores (after writing a letter to the manager of KB) There was a target close to me that had a PS2, they just got 6 in that morning!!! I had them hold 1 and by the time I got there there was mine and another left.....
Sunday we played SSX most of the day... a friend of mine came over (who has had a PS2 for a while now) and showed us how to prewind... that helped with the game a lot!!! it was nice to spend a quite day with just her and I.... The problem is that she kicks my butt at SSX, I need more practice....
I have yet to get a responce from KB, I really don't expect to get one at all... Oh, at the target, the total bill was $100 less than KB anyway...
