weekend update with bob the wonder llama

hugmewell, starting thursday... to say thursday night went badly would be the biggest understatement in the world. Two people very close to me are going through quite a lot of trying to repair damage right now, more than I could ever imagine. They are both brave and strong to have gotten this far through it but there is a lot of healing left...
Please, if you are a parent, talk to your kids about drugs. Talk to them about sex. Talk to them about the people they hang out with. I don't care if they are 8 or 18... it can start early and end in catastrophe. Make sure they know what to stay away from and how bad things can get.
friday night was cleaning the house and then a good break at a coffee shop.
Saturday was MAJOR cleaning day. Along with decorating; I have added many new pictures to the wall and rearranged many of the ones that were there before. That evening I went to a house warming party and locked my keys in my car... sigh... luckily I had someone who could bring them too me. the housewarming parting was interesting... it was like walking into a room with a thousand rubberbands stretched all the way out... everyone was really tense... very odd...
Sunday was my day with the parents... they got to the house at about 1:00 and I showed them around. I have lived there for 2 years now and my sister, her new husband and my grandparents had never seen it. so they got the tour. we ate, I made pork loin, roast asparagus and musrooms, and potatos... then pudding for desert... after it was over I felt like I had run a marathon.![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
malficient came over afterwords and we watched "finding nemo" I love that movie.
this weekend was way too short. and was filled with many ups and downs... Morning was difficult, I did NOT want to get out of bed and come into work today...
next week I will be in St. Leuis
