hugmeI HAVE INTERNET!!!!
took 2 days but i now have an internet connection and it's working.
hooked up my unix box, got that working. UNIX is so cool, AT&T uses your mac address to track you, so if you change cards you have to call them and have them change the MAC address in their database. however I run unix, so I can change my MAC address to what ever I like. I am thinking about calling them and telling them that my address is 00:00:00:00:00:01 -- I think that would scare them however
this weekend is dedicated to my comptuers, there is SO much work to be done. diablo is up, the dhcp server is installing, the firewall has to be set-up so that it works on boot, the new tables have to be set up and have computers put on them, 3 servers have to be reinstalled, the file server has to be fixed, I need to get the 30amp outlet for the backup power supply and hook that up. on top of all this I need to start running cable through the house... SO much work... I will get it all done eventually, it may take a couple of weeks however.
