The dealership holding my car called, the warrenty company came by and looked at my transmission. It has been leaking for a while now so they say, therefore it's considered a 'pre-existing condition' and they aren't going to cover it. I have only had the car for 9 weeks tomorrow.

I called the dealership where I bought it and my finance manager there is calling them and trying to figure out what is going on. he is going to call me back.

sigh... I REALLY do not need this right now.

Oh hunny. They are really trying to get out of fixing the lemon car. You can sue the shit out of the dealership, and the warrenty company.

Was this a brand new model or a "used" car ? kw is right, Georgia has "lemon law" protection for "new" cars, which would eventually apply if the car keeps breaking down. If it's "new", the manufacturer's warranty should cover the fact that the trans was leaking to begin with.
