where here you go.. these are my endorsements:
US Rep 11th district:
What horrible choices!!! holy crap!! I can't stand either one of these guys!
ok... so I guess I will go with the Incumbent Phil Gingrey (R) at least he wants to lower taxes where Patrick Pillion (D) wants to rape us on them
State Rep 43th district:
Bobby Franklin (R) is the only choice
State Senator 21th district:
Chip Rogers (R) is the only choice
Governor:
Garrett Michael Hayes (L) He is a bit of a newbie and needs some time on the front lines. but he is a lot better suited than Mark Taylor (D) or Sonny Perdue (R)
Lieutenant Governor:
Allen Buckley (L) this is by far the most solid choice I have. I do like Allen's ideals and his stance on the issues. I think he will do an excellent job. He is running against Jim Martin (D) and Casey Cagle (R)
Secretary of State:
Karen Handel (R) She seems to have a clue. She wants to move Georgia forward. Gail Buckner (D) wants to get rid of the states computer systems and move everything back to paper. Sorry, I don't think we need to go back to the dark ages. I don't know why Kevin Madsen (L) is running... he doesn't seem to have a clue...
Attorney General:
Perry McGuire (R), Thurbert Baker(D) is a stuckup prick. I really don't think he gives a rats ass about his voters.
State School Superintendent:
David Chastain (L), You will not see me voting for Denise Majette (D) ever... and I don't think Kathy Cox(R) understands where schools need to go. I do like David's ideas, I think he has his head on straight and will help get our schools headed in the right direction.
Commissioner of Insurance:
Guy Drexinger (D) will help with the health care issue the most. John Oxendine (R) I think backs the insurance companies a little bit too much.
Commissioner of Agriculture:
Tommy Irvine (D) has held this position since 1969 and has done a pretty good job. Not to say that the other candidates aren't decent, I just like the work he has done and don't think it needs a change
Commissioner of Labor:
Brent Brown (R) I don't think will do the job I want. however you couldn't pay me to vote for Michael Thurmond(D)!! Something about rewarding people who don't work and punishing people who do work I just don't care for!
so there you have it! 5 Republicans, 3 Democrats and 3 Libertarians this time around. some because they are good and I like their views, some because they are just the most desirable choice.

Date: 2006-11-07 11:30 pm (UTC)This is going to be a real wake up call to both those parties if a bunch on Libertarians get in. People are tired of the BS on both sides.
The biggest thing I was looking for was Fair Tax....I am tired of carrying the burden. I am a frugal person and this should help me tremendously, Make even the illegals and those ducking the taxes by under the table sallery and make them carry their share. Make nooses out of the tax loop holes the rich seem to find.
It will be interesting to see how this pans out tonight.
Oxendine Got my vote again. I have had dealings with his office on a problem with an insurance company and they did good by me. I think most of his work has been reasonably fair on both sides. I knew what to expect with the guy so I went with him again.
