Let's rock the house!!

Next weekend starting on the evening of the 3ed of July until that Sunday of the 6th I am going to be rocking the house!!! If you wan to come and join me please let me know!

ok... So maybe I'm being a *little* mis-leading (or maybe I'm being MORE accurate). By 'rock the house' I mean put up sheet rock... and by 'join me' I mean work.

Seriously though... the hanging of the sheet rock on the ceiling is not at all a one person job and I will be needing some help. Email me if you think you can show up one of those days... I will be needing the most help on the first couple of days... hopefully the last few days will just be finishing: applying mud, sanding. etc....

I will be supplying food and drink to anyone who shows up! Please, e-mail me if you can come!

senseless, a friend of mine in Florida, has had some nifty ideas for ways to hang sheet rock with just one person. Here's his sheet rock hoist (http://www.instructables.com/id/DIY-Sheetrock-Hoist-for-about-100/), although it requires some welding.

I think I'm going to rent a hoist. The new ceiling in the bedroom is 16 feet tall so I'm going to have to figure out some rigging method anyway as I don't know if I will be able to find one that tall. I saw one online that made it to 15'10" which may work but I would have to find a rental place that has it.

I'm thinking get one of the 11' hoists and just put it on top of the scaffolding. I will find out the options when I get to the rental place.
