hugmeThis weekend had extreme highs and extreme lows....
Friday was OK.. I went to a 'party' at Agnes Scott, the entire night I felt like the riff raff at a country club... (and that I think I was) Most of the girls there have LOTS of money and they are there to flaunt it... and they do. I was explained the concept of never wearing the same outfit twice... something I am still pretty confused about. Not only is it considered evil to be seen in the same thing 2 times but these girls keep up with this stuff... who wears what, where they got it, how much it cost... etc....
Saturday was not a good day. it started out nice, but it just went down hill from there... Why is it that when you work on a computer at home it works fine, you boot it up several times and everything is great... you bring it to the site and it core dumps while starting the kernel... even if you do get it to a command prompt, the 'ls' command causes it to crash... grrr...
Sunday was a NICE break, We got up when we wanted to, watched 3 movies, played a little playstation II, went shopping. I found out that the PS2 sucks for playing DVD's, yes it plays them; however, the quality is REALLY horrible on it, the colors fade in and out, you get these weird horizontal lines on the screen... it's just all screwed up... Looks like I am going to have to go and buy a DVD player after all ... oh well.
Sunday was WAY too short... I was so sad to take Elizabeth home.
I started on another computer for the contract job I have tomorrow (the one that didn't work on Saturday) hopefully this one will go a little bit better than the last one did. I am going to spend all night tonight working on the little bastard to get it ready.
I need to put up a named and dhcp help files... they would be useful... maybe later this week I will do that.
