much done

SO much is going on right now!!!

the Tesla coil is still on hold until I move. I think it will be a good idea anyway since I don't have a yard or anything at the apartment to put it in..

I am still working on the diskless booting system. I am to the point where the root file system has been mounted but I am getting 'init not found in path' I don't know why, it prints out the path and /sbin is there which is where init exists. grrr... I may work on it a little more tonight

the new expansion for diablo II is really cool, my assassin is up to a level 36 I think Elizabeth has a level 37 druid now we will be in the top 100 before you know it ;-)

I am working on cleaning and packing the apartment, that is going really slow. I have a lot more stuff than I thought. I have a bunch of baseball caps.. I don't know why I have so many, I don't wear them. also the cloth bags, I have a stack of those. Lots of old memories and lots of things I found that I thought I had lost. you know I have moved at least once a year for the last 10 years, that is a lot of moving. I still don't have a place to live in yet, I am thinking about renting a house for now until I find one I like to buy.

I am working on installing freebsd on this laptop. it only has a 200 meg drive and it just failed due to not enough space on the drive.... this is going to be a tough install, I will get it done though...

this weekend is a science-fiction convention, it should be fun, next weekend is def-con, I am leaving on Thursday of next week for Las Vegas and getting back on Monday. should be an interesting time in the desert..... hopefully they will keep the power on while I am there.

one of my co-workers just bought a book I want, it's all of tesla's official pattens it has design drawings and everything. turns out barns and nobel has 135 different tesla books in stock.. wow, I may just have to go on a shopping spree!!!!

I taught my father some html last night, that was pretty cool, he used to be a programmer so he picked it up REALLY fast....

I can't go eat until after this silly meeting.. I am getting hungry Food!!!!!

live journal sux

fucking down again today, I lost 12 paragraphs because luserjabber crashes when it can't find the live journal site... grrr, I couldn't imagine actually paying money for this shit -- I guess it's free for a reason eh?

I will try and remember everything I put down.

I had weird dreams last night, I am not writing them all down again... grrr fucking stupid amins... I offered to help out but you have to fucking RETURN MY E-MAIL for me to.

subway for lunch, there was a lady standing at the door telling people as they came in that they shouldn't eat there because the management had refused to give her the discount for her kids meal they used to have.... I had to yell at her the stupid bitch... just because she doen't know how to keep her legs together when she knows good and fucking well she can't afford kids I have to pay more for my sandwitch so that they can get a discount...

if you have kids and can't afford them do the world a favor, put them in a car seat then drive with them into a lake. it is the best thing you could do for humanity.

Def-Con is next weekend, I am pretty psyced about it!! 4 days in las vegas... woo-woo

I am working on the diskless systems... this morning I was recieving an 'init not found in path' error... I don't know why, itit is in /sbin and /sbin is in the path, I am going to check on it when I get home today.. I coudln't play with it much this morning, that darned work thing.

I still don't have a place to live in aguest, I am considing just renting a house for a little while... if I can get a roomate then I can be able to affort to save up some for the down payment on a house.

I finally got freebsd installed on that little laptop... it's a 486-33 it only has 8 meg of memory and I am trying to get everything (including the shell) to run without using swap.. it's hard to do.. for some reason when I compile the kernal on a different machine it doen't want to see the swap at all.. grrr... when it does that I get out of memory errors...

will work on that later
