hugmeNot for the faint of heart
all done, no more roots for me... he put in temporary caps in the holes because of the infection... in 2 weeks he will x-ray again to make sure everything is gone before he puts in the permanent ones.... it turns out that those two roots have been infected for several years... my body was able to fight it from spreading but not able to get rid of it completely. I think this is why my nose always hurts so much, and I thought it was because it had been broken so many times...
surgery went well, no problems.. drilled holes in the crowns, pull out the roots, cleaned, sanded the holes out and put the little plastic bars in the canals.... we talked about computers the entire time he was working, it's kind of funny, when the original accident happened in 93 he got to use his camera for the first time, the pictures of my teeth were still in the file. he pulled them out and laughed because he was still learning how to use it and the ones he takes now are SO much better.
oh, he didn't even bother giving me the bottle of codine he usually does... he knows I won't take them...
