hugmewhat a great weekend!!
Got to the hotel just after 10:00 on Thrusday and started setting the network up. got a good signal and a connection to the firewall. along with ssh access to the firewall. Then I went back to work for 4 hours. Back to the hotel in the evening and got the rest of the network set up. all of the user stuff done. Thrusday night parties were great!! I had a kick ass time!! Friday was music day... set up the music servers and a play list with a few hunderds of hours worth of songs on it... played in the con room the entire time. then the Mr. Fantasm contest... I wore a business suit to the contest, really nice grey one. I brought a bag with me and a list of about a hundred things I was going to do on stage, juggling, oragami, poetry, improv... all kinds of stuff... we had 3 minutes to impress the judges in many catagories, inteligance, strength, sinsitivity, ... etc. I started off by doing a little comedy about the network connection to the hotel... I knew I couldn't get all the things done that I wanted to so I asked the audience... "what would you like to see me do?" at least 10 people at the same time yell out "STRIP!!" heh.. I was prepared for this too.. I was wearing my devil underware (evil grin) so the show went on and I did a fabulas striptease for everyone. it came down to the end and I won!! I am the first year Mr. Fantasm!!

Saturday I had to do some sewing on my friend sandra's mini-skirt, she had broken the zipper and I had to take the old one off and put a new one on... I didn't have my thimble and did a horrible job on it.. but it worked and it held.. I need to go back and redo the stich I put in and add a second stich. I entered the slave auction, the money goes to two good charities. I get a lot of money every year so I always enter... this year I got $135 which was the highest of any guy and 2ed highest of any one person!! woo-woo!! I was bought as a present for a guy and I wondered around parties with him and just hung out for severl hours.. it was fun!!
There was a group of several of us who wandered around parties calling ourselves "the amiba" wow, that is geeky... but fun...
Sunday was breakdown... I got home, unloaded the truck and wet to bed at 4:00, I got back up at 11:30, had a bowl of soup and went back to bed.. slept until 10:00 this morning...
I saw SO many old friends.. I met SO many new wonderful people..
