On the second day of unemployment my karma gave to me....

Two stacks of paper work
and an absent tooth that just got pulled

went to the unemployment office this morning, woo-woo... filled out lots of paperwork. I should know by the end of the week if my job is going to try and deny me benefits.

I have actually gotten some really good job leads in the past few days, thank you to everyone who found them and sent them to me!! some contract work in there as well.

Even without unemployment I should be OK, I am pretty good at taking care of myself. Thought of lots of fun things I can do for money (anyone want to buy some baked goods ;-) )

I am SO glad I got up at the crack of dawn to go to the unemployment office. I got there a few minutes after 7, there were 5 people in my group... when I left at 9 the office was full, 30-40 people were in line to try and get benefits.

ok, now it's work on my resume time!!

Glad to see you're not down on the unemployement thing. Some people can really fall into a bad depression. Make the most of your free time. Bake things! :;wink::

Sorry we missed the get together on Friday. I would have LOVED to have been there. Alas...we spent 4 wonderful days in the mountains. It was quiet. It was lovely. I PROMISE next time!
