just 7 days

Last night I was in a car wreck... well, that is a little misleading... I was inside hanging out with my friends and my car was hit, hard, they guy drove off but the nice people at Kroger managed to get his plate number -- which didn't belong to the vehical they discribed. so I am going back to Kroger this morning to pull the security tape... it was a white business astrovan and I am sure it has blue paint scrapes on the tail. the damage to my car isn't minor.. at all.. sigh...

for those of you keeping score, so far in the last 7 days I have:
lost my job
had a tooth pulled
had my car wrecked

you know, if you ask around as to what are the 3 worst things that could happen to you EVER, I am willing to bet a lot of them would list these three... or, at least they would be in the top 10

I am off to Kroger then to the police station...

I hate to tell you this but, I worked for kroger for 5 years, I know their security cameras inside and out, They bring 12 or 16 cameras into an analog switching unit, but the way the record is 12 camera frames per tape (split screen) so you get a shitty small picture, and its time laps of 30 seconds or so. The only problem with that is that the outside camera (the one that runs the parking lot) Is suppost to be in a movement loop over the parking lot, thats if the manager decided to start it. Your chances of having a pic of the car are slim, getting one that shows the license plate, next to impossable.
