the weekend report with hugme

Productive weekend!!

I am taking a room downstairs and converting it to a theatre... pictures soon...

this weekend:

Saturday I spend 4.5 hours at lowes for a trip that should have only taken an hour... damn staff... I had to rent a truck to get all of the stuff to the house...
the old celing was taken down
the old walls were cut up so they were even and could be fixed
ducting moved behind a wall
shotty electrical job removed
new celing framed
new walls framed
ductwork put in boxes
all sheetrock for new celing finished (including boxes)
new AC duct added
new electrical lines added
scances hung on walls (three of them, they are very pretty)
piping framed
door frame pulled out and reversed

things left to do:
sheet rock top of walls
build raised floor
plaster
paint
hang curtins
drop in speaker cable
bring in couches

from there I can hand the projector, put in the speakers and other video stuff and we are done!!

who wants to come watch movies with me?

I'm into projection as well.. but recently sold my projector for car parts.. (check my journal... lol)

I'd offer to come over and help, but with work, buying a house, and building the Z up, I just don't have the time..
