so... she is being charged with sexually abusing herself... wow, this case is going to get REALLY, REALLY confusing... how often do you see a case where the perpetrator IS the victum...

I can see womens groups around the world forming a real love/hate relationship with this one.

I am not sure how I feel about this. I don't think a "child" should be posting nekid pictures of herself online, I don't think that's safe. However, its only natural for a child to be curious about their body and its totally normal for them to seek acceptance.
Arresting her is lame. Perhaps the parents need to monitor her actions more closely. I know kids can get away with alot, but if its already in the hands of the police, maybe they should throw her web cam out and burn it. hahaha

I hardly think a 15 year old girl is "child" for this context. This is young woman coming into her sexuality, who may already be sexualy active with others and herself. There may be elements of curiousity and acceptance but there is also the self-esteem and power of being an attractive female.

I'd hate to see her sexual development warped by everyone thinking of her as child that should not being functioning on a sexual level. It really is far more a situation where time, place and discretion need to be taught to her. The morals and ethics of sending photos to people that will get them arrested.... Things of that nature.
