long weekend now house new roommate

hugmeJust got done with my 4 day weekend.. there is a lot to tell....
number one, live journal fucking sucks. as soon as I have time I am going to write my own...
on Thursday night I ended up having to work later than I thought I would so I couldn't stay where I thought I was going to. I went to the chamber instead and then drove down to my parents that night to sleep.
Friday morning I got up at about 9:00 and drove down to tune up clinic where I asked them to do a tune up, an oil change and an emissions check. they did the tune up and oil change fine however when they went to do the emissions check they asked if I had failed a test recently. I said no. he told me that the computer was saying that I had failed one the day before (the Thursday that the computer had broken down) I told them the horror story of waiting for 45 minutes and the machine not working. so they call the clean air campaign people to ask what to do.. they ended up calling 5 different numbers before someone finally had a clue.
Usually when someone has failed a test there is a certificate number that shows up with the old test on it. you have to type in that number so that the computer will let you re-enter the information. however in my case the to kids who tried to give me a test Thursday had aborted the test because their machine wasn't calibrated. so there was a database entry for my car but no information. What they were told to do is get the information on the last car they had done emissions on, get t2 he certificate number and add one. enter that as my current number. it would enter that as my old certificate number and then use a second one for my test.....damn.... now I hand them my credit card and the computer says it's at it's limit. I mailed the check a week ago... I don't get it. I don't argue and go to an atm...
after this nightmare was finished I went to go stand in line at the DMV. oh joy.
I get to the big chicken at 1:50 I am supposed to meet drew at 2:00... I eat lunch and go sit in the car... during my wait I am hit on by a 68 year old lady covered in tattoos along with 28 earrings all the way up to the top of each ear, 2 nose rings, 2 studs on her lower lip and one on her tongue, about a thousand really bad tattoos up each arm, on her neck, and a few on her face. she talked about her two kids and her sexual activity with her neighbors, something I did NOT want to picture. at about 10 til 4 I went to Elizabeth's, had lunch and jonnyx called saying he had just gotten to the big chicken. We picked up 2 movies, unbreakable (great movie) and Slacker (I don't know, I fell asleep) then I drove back out there and headed back to E's. we both slept there.
Saturday at noon we had an appointment to see a house at noon. we made it (barely) and met Patty the owner of the house. we walked through it. It is HUGE. 5 bedrooms 4 floors and a pretty big yard to boot. we told her we wanted it and she canceled her other appointments for the day. then we went to the varsity to meet up with Sanja however she never showed up :-(
we went back to Elizabeth's and then off to the chamber. it was fun. I need to look for my other scanner (the IBM) and all the stuff that goes with it, Kathlene the head of the dancers there wants to buy it. we slept that night at my parents house.
Sunday we got up late and went to elizabeth's. melon and damin came over, we all went out to eat then to play video games at speed zone. I don't like their arcade, too small and too expensive. JonnyX went home and Elizabeth and I went to M&D's to watch a cool anime. I slept on Elizabeth's couch that night.
Monday Elizabeth wanted to go shopping for a dress... I can't understand this concept.. I like shopping it's fun, however when I go shopping I go to stores that have things I would actually buy. I don't go to Macys knowing full well that I have NEVER been there and seen something that I would remotely consider wearing, THEN seem surprised when they don't have anything I like. When I want a new dress I go to stores that I know have had dresses in the past that I like. what is so wrong with this concept?
grrrrr..... found the arcade at the mall and played hydro-thunder for a little while.
I stayed with Gina and Jason last night, I am going there tonight and am going to mow their lawn.. gina did go to work today (yea!!!!)
