Thank you all for your kind words... I am still pretty sore but I will be going to work tomorrow...3 day weekend this weekend, I think we are the only people in the world who get MLK day off...

my plans for this weekend have been shot to hell....

I got my rental car, it's a PT Crusier, brand new, has 7000 miles on it... if you ever have the chance to get one... don't... they SUCK... there is very little room inside, you sit in it funny... and when you sit idle after the engine has been running the car sways back and forth with the turn of the engine...

some of you don't go to my site everyday to check out the "new photo's" section so here you go...

Party at my friend Sarah's
Practicing with my new camera...while cooking dinner.
My cousin Ross's eagle ceremony

I've got a PT Cruiser and I love it! I don't have the problems you described. I think it's a VERY roomy car, much bigger on the inside then it looks, and comfortable too. The only problem I've had is the transmission, which apparently is a common thing for Chrysler. Fortunately that was covered under the warranty. But I still love my car! Sorry you don't feel the same! :)

i'll second that. nearly ever single person that's ridden in my car has been amazed at how much room it has. as for the engine "swaying", i've never felt anything like that in this car.

i haven't had any transmission problems yet, but i'm also not the first owner. he put a bit of money into it, and may have replaced it already.

Yeah, I've had quite a few people warn me about Chrysler and that they have a bad reputation for problems. I bought my car new, have had it 2 1/2 years and 40,000 miles in it when the transmission blew. I looked online and saw this is a common problem for Chrysler cars in general. I still love my Cruiser tho, not willing to give it up. Just keeping my fingers crossed I won't have any more major problems with it. *knocks on wood*

behind the back seats is the window... there is nothing beyond that.... the car is huge on the outside compared to my matrix and my matrix has tons more room on the inside... you should see the things I have carried in the back of my matrix.

I also found out today that it makes a high pitched squeeling sound when you accellorate above 45mph...

Hmmm. What year do you have? Mine is a 2002 and it has an entire back section behind the seats to put stuff in. If you flip the seats down you can fit an 8ft ladder in there! I've never had problems with room. My friend has a Matrix and I always thought they were equal in room. It sounds like yours Cruiser is different? Don't know why they would have changed anything. And I've never had any squealing like you've described, it has a little more wind noise after 60mph, but nothing bad, pretty quiet actually. I'm sorry to hear they may have changed things!

my matrix is 1/2 the size on the outside and 2x the size on the inside... the crusier ends with the back seats there is no space behind it at all. from the outside it looks like it would have the space of a catty, or the old Delta/88's nope... not even close...

And they vibrate like hell (and NOT in a good way) at 55-60.
