Ok, so the car payment/life insurance fiasco...

they decided to write me a check for the life insurance preimum... I can live with that... it's fine...

but something is strange... The bank I have my car loan with is 'Peoples Financial' This is their check... in the upper left corner it has their name and catch line "Peoples financial, we do things for people"

However!! it's a wachovia check!?!?

so.... They chose to have thier checking account with Wachovia?

color me confused... I deposit it tomorrow, lets see if it goes through...

actually that is not unusual. a lot of smaller banks or institutions have accounts at other institutions.
