ok, so I tried to install icq and realized why I don't use it, because it SUCKS. you can't just add someone to your list, you have to 'search' for them. well when you have their icq id which is a UNIQUE number it shouldn't take 20 fucking minutes to find the user.
both aim and icq are owned by aol. I am thinking of trying out the yahoo messenger but to do that I will have to use the everybuddy program and it's just as bad if not worse than icq. can no one come up with a decent chat program? there hasn't been ANYTHING good since irc. it's like we are going backwards with our technology.
