biweekly means every two weeks....
biannually means twice a year...

Whe the hell came up with that bullshit? grrr....

I'm pretty sure both can mean either-- biannual can mean once every two years, biweekly can mean twice a week. You can also say biennial to mean once every two years.

Biennial = every two years
Biweekly = every two weeks

Semi-annual = twice a year
Semi-weekly = twice a week

Bi means two, semi means half
