lovelylotus and I went to the red cross and gave blood. apparently I have the highest iron count they have ever seen, it was 52. They told me next time I come in they want to do a 'double' which means they will take 2 units of red blood cells. you have to have certain qualifications, one of them is an overly high iron count, at least 40%... mine is 52, and over a predefined hight and weight (which I surpass)
more about it here: http://www.my-redcross.org/html/doublethedifference.asp
Saturday we watched all of the TV hellsing, it's not as good as the one I have, not even close. I also started doing some experiments with a circuit board I got at the radio shack up the street which is closing. everything is 10%-50% off. It's a pretty decent location too. I also did some household chores, mowed the lawn etc (boy is my life exciting)
We had planned to go to ren fair sunday but it was raining. So I fixed the lights in the front of the house, they look really nice! they had better, I had to replace the entire damn cable going all the way back to the breaker panel! POS wiring in this house!! I also got some house jacks, the back of the house is slowly sinking, so much at this point that the back door will no longer open. I am going to jack it up and replace the braces there now with cinderblock ones. Anyone ever lay cinderblock before?
The fence is finished to a point now where I can put the dogs in the back yard. I still have to keep an eye on them as there is one spot up at the top of the hill I haven't secured yet. I'm still not sure how I'm going to do that. It's a really weird little problem... maybe I will take pictures of it and pass them around. The dogs LOVE running around in the back yard, they have had to be on a leash for so long now!
Next weekend is mothers day, don't forget! my mother will be coming over for dinner at my house sunday afternoon.
oh, and I have been on this job interview more than once:

one time they actually admitted that's what they were doing and gave me a list of things they were having trouble with.
...sigh...
