My grandfather was submitted to the hospital a couple of weeks ago he was doing fine until Friday the hospital staff tried to restrict him to a wheelchair. You cannot do this to him, it doesn't work. he tipped the chair over and shattered his shoulder. I found this out friday evening, I left for Memphis and got about an hour north of my house when the car.. yeah, the new mustang died. The company that insures it was not helpful at all, I am supposed to be able to call them and have them call out a tow truck and handle all the business with getting it fixed. So I had to call around and find the closes dealership and the closest tow truck... get it there. they are closing and won't be open again until today. So my car is in Dalton Georgia and I have a rental from the dealership.

We got up to Memphis late at night and went right to sleep, Saturday afternoon I got the call that my grandfather had passed away. They had to wrap his hands so he wouldn't take the bandage off his shoulder and he was restricted to a bed. Again, you cannot do this to my grandfather. he was sitting up and find Saturday morning, then sometime late that morning he laid down went into a coma and passed in very little time.

My grandfather was one of the smartest people I know. When I was a kid we used to play games with multiplying 5 to 8 digit numbers together. He taught me how to do tricks with math and numbers. I wish I could remember some of the tricks he taught me, they were pretty amazing. He took me fishing for the first time with cane poles in Florida. He also took me salt water fishing for the first time. He taught me how to have a garden and the real meaning of 'do-it-yourself' he is one of the big reasons why I am so self-sufficient .

The world has lost a great man.

Thank you for all of your kind words during this difficult time.

My condolences on your grandfather's passing. He sounds a lot like my grandfather that I lost 2 years ago.
