does anyone know a decent lawyer that I can just talk to about my case. the ones I find online demand a ton of paper work before they will even tell me if I am wasting my time or not...
it's just fucking stupid.. tell me if I have a fucking case, don't make me do a ton of work to find out that it's wasted!!

The thing about the emissions/catalytic converter may be an exception tho, better look that one up. Im sure googling will find something.

You are getting hosed in this deal and someone needs to pay...

A CPO car should not have transmission leaks and should certainly have a catellitic converter. It's on the dealer to fix these things. If they don't fix them then you can and should escalate. Either the dealer or the warranty company will pay, but let them battle it out between them. You shouldn't have to shell out a dime. If they fail to appease you then it would make sense to consult a lawyer. Even without a lawyer a strongly-written letter to the area/general/regional management (above the dealer) should be in order as well as one to the president/owner of the dealership in question. Also if satisfaction is then not received make sure you have documentation of the car being sold to you sans catellitic converter. Then you can go to the local EPA office and the dealership will be fined several thousand dollars (in high school a friend's dad's shop was accused of removing that stuff and was fined without any kind of due process.)

Contact me offline if you don't have the information on how to do that. (or maybe i just email it to ya instead of making this more complicated than i have to) ;)
