It's interesting that they refer to the loincloth as a "g-string"-- someone I know was trying to research the origin of the term.

Dehumanizing your enemy makes them easier to kill and easier to deal with. Fucking Japs back then even thought less of us than we did of them. It's a tactic used for many hundreds of years by many different civilizations around the globe. Works like a charm too.
