hugmeWe have another contractor to work on the house... we are meeting again on the 3ed to finalize the details. he says he can start working on the 12th... hopefully that will be true. The weekend we put into it the other day helped quite a bit. I may have another one of those days to knock out some of the work the contractor is doing and hopefully lower the price... the cost right now is about to break me.
but in the mean time there is a hole in the house... a huge fucking hole... I don't mean a little golf ball sized hole... I mean an 8 foot high and 8 foot long hole....ugh...
The best thing that's come out of this is the roof. There is now a plan for how the roof is going to look which I am very happy with! I think it's going to look really nice when it's done. The earlier plan I was not at all happy with. it should look really nice when it's finished... well sort of finished... You see, all I'm having them do is framing, siding and roofing... so there will be a bunch of big empty rooms with no real walls on them. As soon as they are done there will be a ton of work to do insulating it and putting up sheet rock...
let's hope this contractor is more honest than the last one!
