fun night

Fantasm meeting last night then party afterwards. The meeting was good, I was pretty unsure about what would be going on with my room at fantasm but it's all MUCH clearer now. I have a lot of work to do. start getting hold of people and I want to build a rack that is just for conventions. I seem to be doing this thing a lot so I want to build an all in one box that I can just pile in, go to a con and have all my servers ready for me without having to worry, I think I have most of the parts here I can work with, may need to build some shelves or something. I even have a rack to build it in.

the party last night was fun, not as good as the last fantasm party but a lot of fun all the same. I keep telling them they need to have them at my house... I have PLENTY of room here ;-)

thanks to everyone who showed up.. it was good to see so many friends.

why is everyone sick? something wrong with everyone I know it seems like.. wtf... and it' horrid stuff, not just simple sickness... SO many of my friends have been going in and out of the hospital... grrr....

ok, I am off to look for a job... already submitted several resumes this morning. got lots more to go... damn this market!!

I dunno. I have been really bronchitis-sick for going on 3 weeks now. I have to keep up with life but not being able to draw very much air into my lungs is wearing on me, y'know?

Good luck with the job search. With your experience and mad skills you should do fine, though.

The flucuations in the weather cause stress on our immune systems...that stress on our immune system takes up its resources leaving us more open to communicable diseases. Those disease (read: colds) spread effectively and quickly in times like that.

:) Biology comes in handy every now and again. Though it didn't help me from getting sicky early last week.

except the two biggest ones I was speaking of, 1 was a broken leg and 1 was a hernia....

I don't think they had anything to do with the change in weather...

Please check your e-mail ? I just sent you a copy of our latest schedule. I'd like to fill in tentative programming for the computer room, based on what we talked about at the weekend meeting. I realize that we haven't confirmed your guests yet and that we may (will) need to make changes?but we're about to post the schedule on Fantasm.org (http://www.fantasm.org), and I'd like to give the fans something more definite than "To Be Announced."

Thanks so much for putting this together ? I'm really looking forward to seeing the final result. And the Tesla coil? Sweet! Let's make that happen!
