I am back from Orlando, it was so nice to get out of that town.

I got there Thursday and went to check on getting a rental car... first off, none of the renal car places had prices listed, I had to wait in line for each one. the lowest price I could find was $59 a day. I said fine then they showed me that that didn't include the $35 a day in taxes added to each one, at that point I said 'kiss my ass' and took a cab.

Checked into my room and asked for a 6:30 wakeup call for Friday. I got into my room and it reeked of mildew, I closed the door and turned the bolt then went to the bathroom. when I came out there was a cleaning lady and her family in my room talking. it was obvious that they had come in for no other reason than to hang out. They asked if I was renting the room, I said yes and they all got up and left. I got my bag and went back to the front desk to complain about the mold problem. they put me in another room. I got to that room and I could still smell mold but it wasn't as bad as the last one. I got out my books and started studying, I had dinner at a little fast food Italian place next door, it was HORRIBLE. went back and studied until it was time to sleep. I got up the next morning via the alarm, I never got my wakeup call. grrr.

I got in the cab and handed him the mapquest map, and the mapblast map, and the directions from the isc2 website. everyone of them was WRONG we ended up having to drive around Disney world looking for the damn thing. the cab fair was $60 grrr... I got to the resort and was told that I would have to walk a 1/2 mile to the other end, I got there and no one knew anything about the test. took us 20 minutes to find the room, I am SO glad I left 2 hours early for this thing. everyone taking the test had the same problem. Because I had taken so much time I didn't get my breakfast, so I had an apple and a granola bar. The test took me 4.5 hours, it was a pain in the ass, you get a question and 4 correct answers, you have to guess at which answer they are thinking about. It has nothing to do with how much you studied or what you know. all of us came out of the test saying the same thing.

One of my friends was there taking the test as well, Chris Farris, so I went and had lunch with him after it was over, another horrible meal... what is it with this place and food? he gave me a ride back to the hotel which was really nice. I took a nap then went wondering around, I found a bookstore and bought a couple of books, went back and read them in my room, then went and saw blade 2, it was really good. it's really sad that the best part of the entire weekend was me going to see a movie by myself on a Friday night. I had dinner at a sub shop, stale bread, old meat, do they just ship all the bad food to Orlando? I went back to my room and turned on the television, I watched a documentary on Pope John Paul II tony hawk was on jay leno, the skateboarding video were really interesting. I went to sleep.

I got up Saturday and had breakfast at an all you can eat place, again bad food, I am not going to eat for a while. how do you fuck up gravy... shit. I went to the airport and had my flight bumped up 2.5 hours so I could leave this horrid town sooner. planes are cool, I want to finish my pilots license. I am home and back on the Internet...ah, my element.
