Ok I have another reason I dislike this game now. I sent in a bug report for the problem with it crashing when I switch applications and they sent back:
"this is a technical issue please call our technical support line." which is a long distance call. fuck that.
ok, on their tech support page they have my problem.. here is their answer to it:
"Dark Age of Camelot does not support Alt-Tab for a variety of reasons. The main reason is to prevent many hacks that require the ability to Alt-Tab out of the game. As Sanya so eloquently stated on the message boards once, think of this as the equivalent of locking your car doors versus leaving them unlocked. While it may not stop someone from stealing your car, it can help prevent it. "

"we here at Dark Age of Camalot are not smart enough to understand security so we have made up ways of fixing the problem that don't really work but we like to think they do. We have tried to make these fixes as annoying for the user as possible"
