I don't know anyone who is more of a slime of humanity than these people. More stupid things today

This recruiting firm has about 3 jobs I am interested in. they tell me I have to fill out their paperwork first, fine, they send it to me in pdf format. I open the PDF make the appropriate changes and e-mail it back to them. They send me a note stating only that they couldn't read it. I resend the document making sure they know it's just a pdf, the same format they had sent me, it's the same document they had sent me just with my information on it now. They send me an e-mail back with the subject "this isn't going to work out" stating that they aren't technical and can't read documents in e-mail and because I didn't print out the document and fax it to them they weren't going to have any further contact with me.

are these people REALLY that stupid?!?

If you are thinking about calling these guys up and bugging them about how dumb they are don't I am not going to put the guys name of Rick Mowery and his phone number of 919.788.8669 anywhere so you can do such horrible things.

I can actually see them not being smart enough to open up a PDF however I can't understand how they could send a form to fill out that they themselves couldn't read.

sometimes i wonder about people/companies. I guess i will never understand the business world. There are a couple of tech headhunters in the atl area, though......did you try another??

Recruiters are having major turnover because there are so few jobs for them to place people in right now. That particular compnay may be scraping the bottom of the barrel for recruiters. Definitely sucks though.

no, it has nothing to do with that, they have always been this dumb, they rate up there on the intelligance level with Human Resources people and High school counsulers some jobs just have no use on this planet at all...

They've always been stupid, but the level has dropped even more the past year. I get people who don't even understand what a txt file is. I had one call me back to ask how to open an attachment in their email (which wasn't even from me) just last month. it's absurd. But yeah they've always been pretty poor. They're just not prepared to deal with techies :)

thanks for not letting us know so we cant bug em...I'll simply go elsewhere to get employed...ah recruiters....
