I am tired of the crap, I want a job. I havn't even been able to talk to anyone in months now. I send out hundreds of resumes per day but each that come back turn out to be some recruiter wanting to put me in a job doing something I am clueless able.... today I send a resume out for a unix security admistrator and was asked if I could write security software on an AS400 - (for those of you who don't know an AS400 does not run unix and I am not a programer)

Tech recruiters are really the most dishonest and greedy people I have ever met in my entire life and dumb to boot... they even beat out highschool counslers... they are just dumb. I think we should have a name other than human for tech recruiters.

You said it about the freakin' headhunters. Much experience with them.

Have you taken some other non-techie job in the meantime to pay the bills? I know that is hard to do, considering your background, but desperate times make you do what you have to do to get by. And it would get you out of the house and do wonders for your self esteem.

I imagine you would not find the job very thrilling, but it might help you make some contacts, as it is in the middle of Fuckhead^H^H^H I mean Buckhead . . . Starbucks.

It is the only part-time job around that gives stock options after three months and 401(k) after 240 hrs. plus medical. Gimme or lego a call or somethin' . . .
