windows 2000 and a new asshole

hugmeok, so I found this fun little services tab... hehe... I stopped almost everything...
things still running:
DHCP Client
Event Log
Plug and Play
Security Accounts Manager
VNC Server
Windows Management Instrumentation Driver Extensions
Workstation
that is it...
all of my programs work, and I can still get on the Internet. I get an annoying message saying "at least one service did not start" when I reboot I will have to find a way to get rid of that. and now when I go to a service, right click on it and click properties it doesn't open the box it's supposed to. as a matter of fact nothing happens. so I go to close it and it says "you can not close this window with property screens still open." however there ARN'T any open, they wouldn't open. (other wise there are a couple more services I would kill)
and it takes a while to log in now... but it boots faster :-D
also when I go into the control panel... instead of there being an image on the left in a small colum and the icons being on the right. the icons are on the left in the small colum and there is nothing on the right... weird...
oh well. as long as the browser works and I can use my 3D programs.
(I am still considering going back to 98 however)
