hugmeI spent money today.. :-(
so the price of the GeForce4 4200 dropped $100 recently... so I went and got one. it was $170 and I got a $30 rebate for the brand new card at best buy. Best buy is a dangerous place for me to go so I went during lunch (because I knew I couldn't stay long) and before I ate (because I knew if I was hungry I wouldn't WANT to stay long). I wrote down exactly what I wanted with the price as they have it on the web site and went directly to the computer department. To avoid looking at anything they had I just showed the piece of paper to the woman working in the department and said 'I want a GeForce4' she answered "what is that" to which I replied a video card (turns out they have a WALL of boxes that say GeForce4 on them in HER department and she didn't know what it was) I followed her to the section, picked up the one that matched my paper and went directly to the cash register to check out.
whew!!! I made it out of there alive!!
I am going to borrow neverwinter nights from a friend of mine here at work and play it some this weekend to see if I like it or not. if I do I am going to buy it for myself. Walmart has it the cheapest for $47 but I am pretty sure I can get it off of e-bay for less than $30 (been really searching there hard)
I guess I am going to have to go home now and face the wrath of grrl for spending money.....

I'm so Proud!...
I had to sop going outside (except at night when stores are closed) because If I go out, I will no doubt end up at a computer/electronics related store. Then, my mouth will start to watter and I will wander around the store for hours drooling all over the merchandice I can't afford, buy stuff I don't "really" need and spend three to four times as much money as I have...
