school and laptop

melonaise took me to southern tech and I applied to go back to school. they accepted my application and I did it!! I am now a student and I start in January. I have to figure out what classes I am going to take and sign up, oh, and of course pay for it ;-) I wonder if there are any good grants. I heard there were a couple of them for eagle scouts but have never been able to find any information on it.
My laptop is driving me insane. Every time I upgrade it something no longer works on it. now I can't get it to display at 1024X768. it's very sad. grrr, I may have to turn this into a server and see if I can find another one dumpster diving or something.
I think I have plans for this weekend but I am not sure what they are. well besides going to
lisabelle's concert
I don't think my cell phone works. it doesn't ring except after the call when the voicemail rings. strange...
it would be an understatement to say that I am nervous about going to back to school. I think 'it scares the hell out of me' would be an understatement as well. I just know that I will be the old guy at the back of the class. I don't know what I want to take either, I have a catalog full of classes and not a clue. I am going today to see if I can get an advisor, I wonder if Daiman can do that for me. I am also going to see if I can use my resume to get out of some of the classes considering 1/2 of them I am sure I could teach. especially the 'theatre appreciation' one.
the proper response here may be 'eep'
