Freaks come out at night

Last night was fun, I went to the chamber dancing... and danced too!! my back is killing me, I think I am getting too old for this. I saw several of my friends but not as many as I would have hoped. I did see marcella and see is always a sweetheart. I haven't been dancing in so long it was nice to get out again. Tonight is glitter dome, that will be a good time... my Debbie will be there (yea!!) and hopefully Sally and Bo too.

I have two things to do today... one fix the natd script and two put up the pictures I have scanned... the ones I have so far are really silly but I want to put them up as place holders now so I can work on the page. The dynamic pages seem more and more appealing every time I think about them. (I had to make a change yesterday and EVERY page had to be changed. the dynamic pages would have fixed this problem).

The virus stuff goes on... grrr, when are people going to learn that I don't just blow this shit out of my ass!!! (as entertaining as that may sound)

OK, pictures are up, you can check them out if you click on pictures. I have a few more there that haven't been posted yet but they will be up soon. there are about 400 that I need to post. I am going to be moving some of the ones on the other page over in a few, I also need to fix the font.... I just viewed the page and the font is REALLY small. The web was down here for a while, not the Internet because I could still use ssh but just the web... strange, I wonder how our brilliant IT guys worked that one.

Chili Mac was for lunch, it was really good, I am going to have to make that sometime. I would like to find some good beef recipes as I don't have many. What is weird is that the beef usually sucks here. oh well...

I have a couple of projects that I may work on, nothing until they fix my paycheck however; that pisses me off to no end. Oh speaking of because of the recent 'team building' outing we had to the braves game I am working on getting a new one together. I have planned it out carefully as I need to make sure I go through the right people to be able to get it approved but I am going to see if I can't get our next 'team building' thing to be at the chamber!!! I am going to talk to Howie tonight about it. You know the saying, if you can't beat 'em, scare the living shit out of them !!!

I am SO ready to go home... we just had a tornado drill, damn this place is more like a high school every day. I found my friend Kalina on live journal!!! yea!!! she is on my friends list now.

I made more changes to the site.. damn that is a lot of updating, hopefully I will have time this weekend to scan more pictures. I am supposed to have a meeting with the Fantasm guys this weekend but I don't know if that is going to pan out or not, we will see.

I am working on learning sql, however it's giving me a lot of trouble. the language is written so that you have to give it a complete sentence in order to get data out... that is so fucking stupid. Computers don't think that way, why the hell would you write an interface like that, so it is giving me hell. I want my Unix commands back, they are nice and simple. you give it data where it needs to be and it sends you the answer. None of this fluff crap in SQL.

this might be a good weekend go go camping, just get away from everything for an evening... hrm...
