more daze

yesterday was damn busy here at work... but I got several cases done...

I got home and couldn't move. I watched 2 movies. Shadow of the vampire and Lady dragon. lady dragon was pretty damn stupid... I don't believe I actually got lady dragon 2 as well... hmm

it was COLD this morning, I left my window open and the fan on.. mmmm it felt good to get up to 40 degrees again. you people who like the sun and hot weather are INSANE.

FreeBSD 4.4 was released last week. I will be making all 5 CD's starting today. I think I finally got my cdrw here at work running for FreeBSD. Looks like it may be upgrade time, I am running 4.1.1 here.

icq

ok, so I tried to install icq and realized why I don't use it, because it SUCKS. you can't just add someone to your list, you have to 'search' for them. well when you have their icq id which is a UNIQUE number it shouldn't take 20 fucking minutes to find the user.

both aim and icq are owned by aol. I am thinking of trying out the yahoo messenger but to do that I will have to use the everybuddy program and it's just as bad if not worse than icq. can no one come up with a decent chat program? there hasn't been ANYTHING good since irc. it's like we are going backwards with our technology.
