satallite warfare

this is REALLY, REALLY bad.. I don't think 99% of you can really fathom how bad this is for more than just the 'warfare in space' reason. You can't have thousands of pices of debree orbiting the earth at mach 32. we are REALLY fucking ourself over.

Of all the things Bush could have done... this is the worse... I disagreed with him many times before but this is just insane. He doesn't understand what's going on or the importance of it.

This is WORSE than this war we are still in for some strange reason.

So you don't concider blowing a satellite out of the sky to show that they can pick us or anybody else in the free world off at will and turning their nose up at the UN regularly a threat?

That was a power play if you didn't get it. It was purposly designed show of might and it was intend to provoke the UN in a child like way.

I agree we should stop playing policeman for every problem in the world. We should make the rest of the UN member nations pull their fair share since it seems the rest of them want US to take care of problems they identify.

I'm certainly not excusing China. I'm just saying we had this coming. We don't exactly play by the UN's rules, either, if you haven't noticed. We can't keep playing by our own rules.

We need to stop treating other nations like enemies or else they will become enemies. China is not out to get us, but the way we've been behaving, I'm not so sure this will continue to hold true. If we keep looking for a new Cold War, we're going find ourselves one. It will be a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Since norway didn't join the war on Iraq (although we did involve ourselves in Afghanistan), I guess we're AGAINST you.

When can we expect the bombs? We're an easier target than Iran and North Korea.

If the U.S attacked Norway, would the rest of the world finally take action against us? I'd really like to see some of these American politicians held responsible for once; they act like they've seen a few too many "good vs. evil"-themed action movies.

Norway has a state church and religion intervowen (sic) into the constitution.

Unfortunately, Bush won't attack us, see, its HIS religion we're so happy about ;)

We also, twice, voted a priest as PM.

However, said priest was fond of alcohol and cigars and taking prozac.
