Bad Emissions

ok, so I went to go get my emissions test today.. I have always thought this was fucking stupid but whatever

I failed it.. you wanna know why? you wanna fucking know why? because my check engine light is burned out.

no, I'm not kidding, I am destroying the enviroment because I have a bunred out bulb on my dashboard.. they wouldn't even giv eme the rest of the emissions test...

Fuck you anyone who thinks that this emissions testing thing is a 'good idea' and not a 'currupt way to create jobs that aren't needed' and 'just another way to steal my money'

The law has already changed to phase out sulfur based diesel (just like lead gasoline, the sulfur is a lubricant that is no longer needed in modern engines). Alas, the diesel truck lobby is pretty strong, and thus works to push the deadline out.

Refined diesel has very few pollutants or fumes. It's good stuff, and is used in Europe to some success in reducing emissions.

(the reason older cars aren't tested is to avoid a financial burden to the owner to get them up to standards..... stupid, ain't it?)
