it's nice to have a cheap theater close to the house... it's $1.75 for a movie.... and $.75 on tuesdays!
The bucket list - Great movie!!! really, awesome, much better than I thought it would be.
Jumper -I liked this one. may have to get it when it comes to dvd
The spiderwick cronicles -another good movie I was very happy with it
Cloverfield - horrible... really dull, little action, so much jittery camera you couldn't look at the screen the whole time. I almost fell asleep a couple of times... the plot was weak, the action didn't make since... it was just a horrible movie, not even bad in a good way... avoid this one.

Mar. 5th, 2008 08:44 amI'm working on the code for the new Frolicon registration page last night and there was a problem with one of the counters for the new shopping cart.... I had been working on it for a while and just couldn't get it... I mean.. it's a freaking counter.. all this code and I can't get the counter to work?!? so I went to bed...
This morning I picked it back up... looked at it for not more than 5 seconds and about kicked myself in the head. All the code was correct... I just forgot to tell it what number to start with... duh....
yeah, ok, stupidity gone... I think I can finish the cart now....

we are going to be celebrating at Dave and Buster's in Marietta on Saturday, March 8th. We're thinking about showing up for lunch around 1 or so and then playing games through out the afternoon. There's a lot of things going on in the evening so we didn't want to conflict with anyone's other plans, plus we're going to try to make it to the Syrens of the South Benefit for The Burlesque Hall of Fame show that night!
I will need to know how many people for lunch for the reservation so let me know if you're going to be there. Otherwise, just come find us afterwords around the games or pool tables.

We have another contractor to work on the house... we are meeting again on the 3ed to finalize the details. he says he can start working on the 12th... hopefully that will be true. The weekend we put into it the other day helped quite a bit. I may have another one of those days to knock out some of the work the contractor is doing and hopefully lower the price... the cost right now is about to break me.
but in the mean time there is a hole in the house... a huge fucking hole... I don't mean a little golf ball sized hole... I mean an 8 foot high and 8 foot long hole....ugh...

You see, all I'm having them do is framing, siding and roofing... so there will be a bunch of big empty rooms with no real walls on them. As soon as they are done there will be a ton of work to do insulating it and putting up sheet rock...

Feb. 28th, 2008 09:36 amOk, I have been thinking about this quite a bit and I think I understand it now... this is from listening to a lot of my friends and their troubles... it's on the way men and women feel about masturbation. Being a guy I understand my side... but I didn't understand the difference until recently...
Now remember, this is the cast for MOST of the people I have talked to.. not everyone.
So being a guy when I start dating someone and therefore have a regular sex partner... my masturbation schedule doesn't change that dramatically (if at all). Sex is something else in addition to masturbation, it's not a one or the other thing... Just because I started eating pie doesn't mean I don't like cake any more... I still like cake, and if I can, I'm going to have a big piece of pie on top of my big piece of cake (use that metaphor however you like).
Most of the women I have talked to drastically change their masturbation habits when they start having sex regularly... while this concept is foreign to me I now know and understand it I think. From what I have seen most women think of sex as a REPLACEMENT for masturbation. If they are having sex, they don't feel the need to masturbate any longer.
It's something important for you to talk about with your partner so there are no surprises.... but remember they probely think about it differently than you do... just because it sounds strange to you remember it's just different, it doesn't change how that person feels about you.
